Success in Math
I had my first paid tutoring job when I was in the fourth grade. I helped my neighbor's son understand multiplication. That was 50 years ago and I still love helping people learn, especially math.
I know that success in school math is a filter to so many opportunities. Not only careers in STEM, but also to having the widest range of choice for your education and career.
I also know that folks, especially children, can not enjoy learning unless they feel holistically safe and connected to others. If a child feels discouraged, angry, or abandoned while they are trying to learn math, then their nervous system embeds "math is dangerous" as truth.
I am developing a program for families to re-wire their brains, change their habits, and organize for success in learning math. I'm so excited about this program, but it's not ready yet.
In the meantime, if your family is experiencing overwhelming stress around math, is daily dreading the time when the children are doing their math homework, and is feeling lost about how to change the situation, I can help you start making the shift.
Using the email contact form below, tell me a little about your situation and I will respond quickly.
